Shiori Mizoguchi, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Before becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, I spent over ten years providing personal care for seniors and individuals with disabilities. In 2017, I traveled across Canada on a transformative journey that deepened my connection with nature and ultimately led me to make my home in beautiful British Columbia.
My decision to pursue massage therapy grew from years of witnessing the impact of chronic pain on people’s daily lives. Wanting to make a greater difference, I trained at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and graduated in 2025.
In my practice, I offer a range of techniques including Swedish massage, myofascial release, joint mobilization, PNF stretching, and relaxation massage (with or without oil). Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing stress, or simply seeking time to recharge, I tailor each treatment to your unique needs. I believe in the importance of the mind–body connection and will work with you to create a treatment plan that feels supportive, effective, and aligned with your goals. Whether that’s a deeply relaxing session or a more dynamic, sport-style massage.
I speak both English and Japanese, and outside of work I enjoy a wide variety of activities. Playing percussion, skiing, cooking, knitting, and reading in the winter months, and camping, hiking, and paddle boarding through the summer. These passions help me stay grounded and inspired, and I bring the same sense of balance and energy into my work with clients.
